Okay, okay.....I'm sorry! :) we haven't written on the blog for a couple of days! Getting emails on facebook and all that some of you are waiting for the updates.............Sorry I couldn't upload any pictures with this post the computers are not working very well here today...................Will post pictures later......Okay here it is~
Saturday Mike & Mary took us all into the city to a really nice park that we hung out at all day. The men (Steve and Mike) cooked us a wonderful meal over the fire pit. Steve was happy about this part since as many of you know we have a firepit at home that he is known for cooking some really good meals on!
We had a great day together eating, laughing, bonding, etc......
It was sad because as we were packing the van to go in the morning several of the CLM kids were hanging around helping and asking where we were going and who was going.............made me sad that they long to do family outings too.
Sunday was a dreary lazy day around here. It rained and everyone was just really tired all day. We had a small church service in the morning here at CLM but their main church services are on Sunday night in the colony. We (The Gouge's) decided to skip church and have family time together. Since the girls are leaving in about a week we are taking advantage whenever we can.
Next Sunday (the 8th) we leave for the "Foz" which is about 5 hours away. It is known as the worlds largest waterfalls. Even bigger than Niagara Falls. It sits on the borders of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. We will be of course going with the Cochran's and staying for a few days. The girls will then leave on the 10th at the Foz because there was a airport there. Feeling sad about them leaving already :( We have all had a great time together as a family and I can't imagine being here without them!
We are having dinner tonight with Viktoria who has been serving as a full-time missionary for I think around 16 years. She is a sweetheart! We did not meet her last year while we were here because she was on furlough in her home country of Hungry. She speaks very good English.
Okay, well for now.........chow chow!
PS....Still love that Boy!!!! Steve calls him a mama's boy now..............He just smiles........and so does my heart~
